Gio's drawings
Gio loved to draw, color and paint on paper and ceramics.
His trait was simple and essential as that of all children,
but often the subjects and the signs he introduced were unusual.
If you asked him their meaning, he would answer concisely and amazed
if not annoyed, as if to wonder how you didn't see their meaning.
His earthly family that he often drew, was always represented with the heavenly family, where with Mary and Jesus and Joseph were the saints
and children never born; the yellow rain were graces that came down
from heaven onto the hospital skyscraper or on a shrine or
onto a church, while the balloons going up were our prayers
and offers of suffering ....
