On the plaque in memory of Gio in NY is engraved the phrase:
"in deference of his great love and his friendship with many priests
in the world"  that  it was suggested by the elder sister Elisa
who had witnessed the great love that Gio had for them. 
He often reminded his mother to pray for the priests and taught her how to be close to them without unnecessary comments.
