Study Seminar: "The Sanctity of Children: A Sign for the Church and for Humanity Today" - Arenzano (Genoa), June 6-7, 2026

The FRIENDS OF GIOVANNIMARIA LalucediGIO Committee is happy to announce an important event: on 6 and 7 June 2026 , at the Sanctuary of the Infant Jesus of Prague in Arenzano (Genoa) , a study seminar dedicated to the sanctity of children will be held.
"The sanctity of children, a sign for the Church and for humanity today" "He called a child to him and placed him in the midst of them..." (Mt 18,2)
The event, organized by our Committee under the patronage of the Sanctuary governed by the Discalced Carmelite Fathers, was born from the desire to spark a shared and profound reflection: starting from the stories of these little ones—from their message, their spiritual legacy—to illuminate the value of their testimony for the Church and for humanity in our time.
Two days of work and prayer will see the participation of theologians, Mariologists, priests, religious, postulators, journalists, writers, parents, and family members . Together, they will explore the theological and pastoral foundations of the specific path to sanctification proper to children, with particular attention to the processes of beatification and canonization causes.
Among the topics on the agenda: the holy children of Fatima and many other little ones who have left a shining mark . Reflection will also be given on how to communicate this holiness, how it inspires pastoral ministry, and what it truly means for a child to love God with all their being.
On Saturday 6 June the works will be coordinated by Dr. Francesca Giordano , journalist, writer and postulator of the Causes of Saints.
On Sunday 7 June, the event will be coordinated by Dr. Enrico Solinas , lay judge of the Umbrian interdiocesan ecclesiastical tribunal and postulator of the Causes of Saints.
